Unlimited specialises in projects at the crossroads of arts and urbanism. We work in collaboration with institutions, curators and artists to create innovative cultural experiences appealing to broad audiences.
We create our own events or partner with festivals and institutions to create new and innovative cultural experiences. Our mission is to transform and reinvent urban spaces through arts and culture, and to give a new purpose to the built environment. We understand the challenges that come with staging events in non-traditional or unusual venues. We are convinced that partnering with the diverse range of stakeholders involved in urban planning and regeneration is key to our success. We work closely with corporate partners and property developers who integrate arts and culture into their marketing, CSR or placemaking strategies to support contemporary creation.
Our in-house research team focuses on cultural policy, urbanism, creative cities and place-making. This longer-term approach is complementary to our ephemeral and event-based activities but share a similar objective: understanding the role and impact of cultural activities on urban regeneration and how it shapes the way people live in the city. Aware of the challenges cities face in a global competitive environment to attract and retain vibrant communities, our research focuses on understanding changing workplaces and the factors that help cities nurture and develop their cultural and creative sectors.
Both our production and research activities have brought us to understand how to use spaces and the urban environment in a creative and engaging way. We are urban explorers and use our knowledge and network to source the perfect spaces and venues, for a one-off or long-term use. We help our partners to transform buildings in creative ways, ensuring that culture is at their heart.
